Start the new year with Discovery Isle Carlsbad as we reflect on a joyful holiday season and the generous support families showed through our food drive with the San Diego Food Bank. In January our classrooms will focus on celebrating the life and legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jr through stories and thoughtful conversations about kindness and inclusion while students also enjoy special activities like making bagels together and building creative creations with LEGO bricks as we grow and learn together as a school community. From December 1 Spirit Week and Holiday Photo Day to a festive Holiday Festival with cookie decorating, reindeer games, crafts, and a Story Time with Santa, plus recognition of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, we’re bringing joy and learning together.
