As October begins, I would like to take a moment to appreciate the season’s transition and the exciting opportunities it brings for our students. Autumn provides an ideal setting for learning, with so many changes occurring outdoors and the chance to incorporate new, natural elements into our artwork and learning centers. This month, we have a range of exciting events lined up as we head into the holidays.
Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? Invite them to our Open House Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat on Saturday, 10/18/2025.
When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
The days will soon be getting crisp! Please supply an extra set of weather-appropriate clothes for your child and a jacket for chilly days.
Do you have a different email address or phone number? Need to add or remove an emergency contact? You can do this at any time in Alma. You can also make payments and access statements through the parent portal. If you need help logging in or accessing the system, please let us know.
Halloween Parade, Friday, October 31, 2025
Please join us for our Halloween Celebration! Parents are invited to attend our Costume Parade at 10:00 AM. The classes will host their parade on the Preschool playground, showcasing their costumes.
Important Reminders:
Wearing costumes is entirely optional and should be based on your child’s comfort and developmental stage. Young children explore reality and fantasy in different ways, often using props like a fireman hat or superhero cape.
If your child does not want to participate, it’s perfectly fine to wear a t-shirt with a graphic or a fun hat or headband.
Costumes should be safe and non-frightening. No weapons or violent references.
For safety during the parade, children should wear secure shoes and carry nothing that may hinder walking.
If attending, please enter and exit through the front office. The parade will take place on ou Preschool Playground.
