Holiday Giving- Food Drive

Collections End December 19th

Our annual Holiday Giving initiative is a way for students to spread cheer this holiday season while developing an appreciation for what they have, showing gratitude toward others, and seeing the positive impact of their actions.

This year, we are collecting non-perishable food donations for families in need, and we are proud to partner with the San Diego Food Bank. Collection bins are available in the lobby for anyone who would like to contribute.

Thank you to all who have already donated. Your generosity is truly appreciated! Our collection is still ongoing, and every contribution helps us support families in need while teaching our students the importance of giving back.

Health & Safety Corner: Protect Against Respiratory Illness

Fall and winter bring higher rates of respiratory illness, especially for infants and toddlers. The California Department of Public Health recommends updated vaccines for flu, COVID-19, and RSV for the 2025–26 season.

How Families Can Help Keep Our School Healthy

  • Contact your child’s doctor now to schedule updated flu and COVID-19 vaccinations and ask if your child is eligible for RSV immunization.
  • If your child does not have insurance, the local health department can help connect you with free or low-cost options.
  • Visit shotsforschool.org to review required immunizations for child care.

Thank you for helping us keep our children, teachers, and school community safe and healthy.
