From the Principals Office…
June, July and August…Here we go!
We have a busy summer a head of us. In a blink of an eye it will be over! This newsletter will be from June until August, so it’s a cram packed full of exciting information, so be sure to read all info sent home.
We will start our summer off with our Pre-K Super Hero Graduation. By the end of the month, we will have a major school transformation before classroom transitions start. On Friday, June 28th the center will be closed as we move all age group programs around to different classrooms. Monday may be a little confusing but we are here to help.
The beginning of July we will start the first round of student moves to their new classroom. Class transitions will go all the way to the end of August. A letter will go out with your child’s move up date and assigned classroom. This transition will be calm and relaxed; move ups are determined by spaces available in the areas our graduates transition out of the center.
Summer time will be filled with fun summer themes, guest speakers, awesome spirit days, potluck picnics, kids day out and fun splash days! Check out our calendars for dates and times.
These next couple months will be a blast! We look forward to a wonderful summer with you!

Splash Days are coming soon!
Check out our school event calendars for our summer time scheduled “Splash Days”.
Let’s beat the heat and cool off each week for fun water activities and sprinkler fun.
Splash Days will begin on June 19th and go all the way until August 14th. They will alternate Wednesday to Tuesday each week during each classrooms designated outdoor time. Subject to change per weather.
Please bring your child in their bathing suit and have your child lathered up with sunscreen upon arrival for the day.
What to bring?
1. Towel
2. Sunscreen w/ sunscreen form
3. Water shoes
4. Dry pair of clothes to change into.
5. Dry pair of shoes.
6. Bag to store wet clothes in.

Christy’s Crafty Corner
Summer Time is all about fun times and making memories! Hours of entertainment! This is a great Summer Sensory activity that your child can help you make and learn at the same time.
GLITTER SLIME
Supplies Need:
1 Elmer’s Glitter Glue
1 Cup Water
1 tsp. Borax
1 Tb Water
{ You can replace the Glitter Glue for regular white glue to make normal slime }
Instructions:
Mix 1 tsp. Borax and 1 Cup water together.
You can find the Borax at your local stores in the Laundry section. Call me crazy but I love the box. Have your little helper empty the Glitter Glue into a bowl. Oh the anticipation! Add 1 TB. Water to the glue and mix it together. This will help the glue to become a little more flexible. Then pour the Borax mixture inside of the bowl.
Let their little hands work the magic as they combine the glue and the mixture together. Right away you will see how the Glitter Slime will start to form. I love this part when you hear them say oooh and cool at the same time!
