Do you know what all the happy buzz is about? Links2Home!!!
Have you been getting daily photos home of your child learning or engaged in fun activities with peers? We are so ecstatic to link our partnership between teachers and parents, preschool and home.
For even more connection at your fingertips… download the Tadpoles Parents APP onto your smartphone. All your child’s pictures are saved in one place and can be shared with friends and loved ones. You can also send a message to your child’s teacher or click-out absent from school. Thank you for all of your positive comments and your understanding as we are rolling out this new parent friendly communication feature!
Please be sure to also check your child’s classroom throughout the month for process board displays with activity descriptors as well as your child’s work file. All important information will go home in your child’s file. In addition, classroom lesson plans are posted on their “Parent Board” inside the classroom. Furthermore, at the end of the month, you will receive a folder that contains work your child has done throughout the month. An enclosed letter will connect what we learned as well as a sneak peak at the upcoming month. Don’t miss out on your child’s learning…get involved with Links to Learning!

April is a great time of year to get involved in special child friendly projects at home! This month we have included a fun simple activity for you and your child to experience at home.
In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, make a Pine Cone Bird feeder for your yard. For this project all you will need is a large, open pine cone(s), several feet of string for each cone and a mixture of 1/2 Cup vegetable shortening or lard, 2 1/2 Cups of cornmeal or uncooked oats, chopped dried fruit and nuts (especially sunflower and millet). Simply spread the mixture on the pine cone(s) and have your child roll the cones in birdseed and suspend in a tree. Easy and purposeful!
