From the Principals Office…
Tis’ the season to be jolly! As the holidays approach, our time becomes consumed with traveling, relatives and making holiday preparations. Planning ahead is the key to staying organized which will make the holidays run so much smoother.
I know many of you will be on vacation this month. Please sign the sheet on sign-in area if your child will be absent during the holidays. This helps me in approving time off for staff.
We have so much to look forward to this month. We start the month off with “Kid’s Night Out”. This is a great opportunity for you to get a start on the holiday shopping or just have a little parent time alone. Going out with some friends? Yup their children are welcome to!
Don’t forget to check out our calendar for our fun Spirit days planned for this festive month!
Next, we will be sponsoring Rady’s Childrens Hospital with their “Isabelle’s Gift” pajama drive. Last day to collect pajamas will be 12/19/19. Lastly, calling all School Age children, Camp Zone Winter Break begins on Dec. 23rd to January 10th. Camp spaces are limited and are filling up fast!
Until next month.. Christy Lang

Instructions
Materials for The Grinch Christmas Ornament Craft
Clear, plastic bulb ornaments (We bought ours at our local craft store. These plastic ornaments that snap in half might be fun to try too!) Pom poms in a variety of green shades, sizes and textures
Red oil-based marker (Again, we bought ours at our local craft store. They are similar to these.)
Directions for The Grinch Ornament Craft
- Take off the top of your clear plastic bulb and fill it with a variety of green pom poms until it is full. (Great fine motor practice for little ones!) We found a bunch of different ones at our local craft store and also received some from CraftProjectIdeas.com. Here’s a few ideas: .5 inch kelly green, .25 inch kelly green, neon green pom poms.Replace the top.
- Use a red oil-based marker to draw a heart on the ornament. Allow it to dry. (You can also use Sharpies, but the color won’t stand out quite as much.)
