June Newsletter

As we come to the end of our school year, we would like to thank every family member for truly making this year one to remember. Some of you will be moving on to new adventures in your lives, and we just wanted to say from our family to yours- you will be missed, and thank you for all the great memories.
We are very excited though to welcome all of our new friends to Discovery Isle that will be starting with us in this new school year. We can already tell it is going to be a fantastic one!
Even though this is the last month of school we are not slowing down. PLEASE pay special attention to the events listed below, and take note of them:

• Last day to return pictures is on Monday, June 8th

• Attention Dads!
Join us Friday, June 19th from 7:30am-9:00am for Donuts With Dad!

• New classroom assignments will be given out by Friday, June 19th

• Our new school year officially starts Monday, June 29th – along with new classrooms, new tuition prices begin.

• Kindergarten Graduation will be on Wednesday, June 10th at 11:30am

Whatever your child’s age, it is important to continue shared reading experiences even during summer. Reading together frequently has been shown to have a profound positive influence on vocabulary acquisition, speech development and listening skills.
